Designed for the more advanced student who has mastered color pencils, this course will lead young artists on an exploration of watercolor paints. They will learn basic watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry-on-dry. Students will work from various subject matter such as still life, photograph, plein air, abstraction and their own imagination. At the same time they will reinforce their knowledge of value, composition, color theory and more.

** New students will be charged a one-time Materials Fee of $25 and will be given a set of watercolors and 3 brushes.

Students are responsible for purchasing and bringing to class the following additional supplies:
